राज्यपाल (Governor)

वर्तमान में राजस्थान के राज्यपाल श्री कलराज मिश्र हैं। (2019.....से वर्तमान)

राज्पाल:-

अनुच्छेद 153 के अनुसार राज्यपाल का पद सृजित किया गया है ।
राज्यपाल की नियुक्ति राष्ट्रपति द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री तथा उसके मंत्री परिषद् की सलाह पर कई जाती है ।
राज्यपाल को शपथ मुख्य न्यायाधीश दिलाता है।
राज्यपाल के पद के लिए न्यूनतम आयु 35 वर्ष होती है ।
इसका कार्यकाल 5वर्ष का होता है।
राज्यपाल के द्वारा मुख्यमंत्री, उसकी मंत्री परिषद्, राज्यों के महाधिवक्ता , राज्य लोक सेवा आयोग अध्यक्ष, तथा सचिवों की नियुक्ति की जाती है।

राज्यपाल के अधिकार /शक्तियां:-

1.कार्यपालिका शक्ति :-

वह राज्य का प्रथम नागरिक होता है।

वह विश्वविद्यालय का कुलाधिपति होता है ।

यह निम्न व्यक्तियों को नियुक्त करता है--

1.राज्य के विश्वविद्यालयों के कुलपतियों की। 2.राज्य का महाधिवक्ता।
3.राष्ट्रपति द्वारा राज्यपाल की सलाह पर ही उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश की नियुक्ति की जाती है ।
4.राज्य लोक सभा के अध्यक्ष और सदस्यों की नियुक्ति करता है।

विधायी शक्तियाँ :-

1.राज्यपाल विधान सभा में एक इग्लो इंडियन सदस्य को मनोनीत कर सकता है।

न्यायिक शक्तियां :-

अनुच्छेद 161 के अनुसार राज्य के किसी भी न्यायालय के द्वारा दी गई सजा को कम या माफ कर सकता है।

अनुच्छेद 356 के अनुसार राज्य में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाने की अनुशंसा की सिफारिश करता है ।

2.विधान सभा में 1/6सदस्य को मनोनित कर सकता है ।

3.दोनो सदनों का अधिवेशन बुलाता है तथा दोनों सदनों के प्रथम सदन को सम्बोधित करता है।

At present, the Governor of Rajasthan is Shri Kalraj mishra.

Governor:- The post of Rajpal has been created as per article 153. The governor is appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister and his Council of Ministers. The oath to the governor is the Chief Justice. The minimum age for the post of Governor is 35 years. It has a tenure of 5 years. The Governor appoints the Chief Minister, his Council of Ministers, The Solicitor General of the States, the State Public Service Commission Chairperson, and the Secretaries.

Powers of governor:-

1.Executive Power:-He is the first citizen of the state. He is the Chancellor of the University. It appoints the following persons-1.Vice-Chancellors of state universities.

2. Solicitor General of the State.

3. The Chief Justice of the High Court is appointed by the President only on the advice of the Governor. 4. Appoints the Speaker and Members of the Rajya Sabha.

Legislative Powers:-

1. The Governor can nominate an Inglo Indian member in the Legislative Assembly.

Judicial Powers:-

May reduce or waive the sentence given by any court of the state as per article 161.

As per Article 356, it recommends imposition of President's rule in the state.

2. Can accommodate 1/6 member in the Legislative Assembly.

3. Convenes a session of both the Houses and addresses the first house of both the Houses. Chief Minister (CM) and his Council of Ministers
